After upgrade, it will serve the license is stoked on your database, why go to your phpMyAdmin and run this query in the database WHMCS:

UPDATE tblconfiguration SET value = '' WHERE setting = 'License';

UPDATE – 22nd DECEMBER
As promised here is the line to edit the file “includes/licensefunctions.php”

Find the line that begins with this :

$data .= "......

Replace it with :

$data .="<addons>". "nextduedate=2050-12-01;". "name=Support and Updates|". "name=Branding Removal;status=Active|". "name=Mobile Edition;status=Active|". "name=iPhone App;status=Active|". "name=Android App;status=Active|". "name=Configurable Package Addon;status=Active". "</addons>n";
