We had several hundred orders on the $6.00/yr plan, however they were not supposed to validate with a coupon, as the full price of the plan is $12.00 per year. We allowed this price to continue for as long as we could (2 years) however we are in the process of moving all customers to 100% SSD hardware, which is of course much more expensive than SATA HDDs.
As such, the price per year for renewal will be $12.00 ($1.00 per month).
Furthermore, all of our suppliers have been increasing pricing, so we have no choice but to react in order to make our business sustainable. As a quick example, one of our primary data center providers (QuadraNet) recently increased the price for a /24 (256 IPs) from $125/mo to $205/mo. Many of our low-end competitors have closed down over the years, but we are still in business, since 2013.
I can offer a 10 GB Disk Space upgrade or 1 GB RAM upgrade free of charge if you wish.
